Library
There is a residents’ library in the communal area with a wide range of books and magazines. The Wyoming sub-branch of Gosford Library adjoins the village, and the Gosford City Council bookmobile visits the village every two weeks.

Hairdresser
A fully qualified hairdresser regularly visits the village and appointments can be made by contacting staff.

Health Services
Adelene is ideally situated very close to public and private hospitals and a village nurse is available Monday to Friday to help with day to day care.

A podiatrist and physiotherapist visit regularly, and a doctor’s surgery is available on-site.

Where a greater degree of care is needed, nursing assistance is available 24 hours a day in our Nursing Home.

Activities
There is an excellent range of activities available throughout the week organised by the motivated activities staff and residents.

The recreation hall is the social centre of the village. Try your luck at bingo, belt out a tune at the regular singalongs or keep fit with the exercise group or walking club.

With so many activities available you can be as busy or as idle as you want to be.

An outside patio garden area is the ideal place to catch up with family and friends.

Church Services
A non-denominational Christian service is held each Sunday afternoon, and there is a monthly prayer on wheels. All churches are encouraged to conduct services at the village.

Transport
Village buses are available for excursions, shopping trips and much more, including men’s and ladies’ bus outings and concert trips.

There is access to the local bus network from a bus stop that’s only 10 metres from the front of the village. Gosford Railway Station is only three kilometres away with direct services to Sydney and Newcastle.
